(E-Navigation) Seall Passage Planner, New Features On The Way

Many mariners fully understand the importance of a solid passage plan. In fact, navigators spend hours and hours to make sure that they are fully equipped with all the requirements prior to the voyage.

The preparation phase such for passage planning therefore is crucial and essential for SAFE journey to your destination.
However, as many mariners are aware and agree, there are always unwelcoming events waiting at sea such as bad weather or the menace of piracy. This is where high IT technology comes into its own.

Seall Passage Planner, versatile software for passage planning has revealed its new development plan. The new features include Weather Overlays and Piracy Updates which are expected to be due by early next month.  

The weather overlay feature is designed to forecast and display the next five-day weather forecast and any related nautical information. The piracy updates will provide the recent reports & updates for a mariner and previous piracy history on specific areas.

Experience Seall better with our tutorial videos

Seall Passage Planner has started to provide demo videos for its users from this month. The demo series will feature all the key functions which are available in Seall Passage Planner and scheduled to be up-to-date through the Seall YouTube channel on a regular basis.

Each demo clip will assist users in gaining the information on specific functions in Seall Passage Planner and utilising the product more effectively and efficiently to the maximum.

(E-Navigation) FAQs - How can I get a licence key?

If you are happy with the product and wish to use the full version, you are required to purchase a licence key. In order to purchase a licence key, you need to send us 
the Unique Machine ID at You can find out ‘How to Get a Machine ID’ in this document.

Once you send us an email quoting your machine ID, then we will send you the key by email. The licence key will subscribe your machine to the S63 protection scheme used by the Hydrographic organisations such as UKHO and NOAA. Also the return email will include your user permit which should be sent to your chart agent who will use it to order your ENC permits file from your preferred data provider.
